Have a look under the left hand rear wheel arch at the back and check that the fuel tank breather hasn't perished and split. It is in the firing line for spray from the rear wheel.

Sorry ignore the above - I think that it is all there but difficult to see. Reckon someone has fitted the MK 3 Bradley damper to the mark 2 - fine as long as it all works.
