The brackets that was tested in the Lab are just a joke they lasted less than 8 sec at driving at 60 miles a hour in the test frame.

As far as I understand it you can skip the learning, the ECU will learn over time while driving. The pilot learn should speed up the process but isn't necessary.

I can't hear anything unusual, I think you're a bit oversensitive. There are lots of brackets, shields and the like attached to the engine and gear boxes which may give a rattle here and there.

What did you use to receive attach the treads? I couldn't find a supplier of the long rivets to replace the originals and had limited success with riv nuts.

Bolts can go out, I used nice black metallic can spray on mine last fall (car was 7 years old as well):
