As above, there is space for it on the chassis plate just behind the brake servo but in my experience it has not been filled in by the factory on most 300tdi Defenders but you might be one of the luck ...

To me that looks like a 2 inch lift that has been nicely done because the car is sitting level front to back.

I had a slot cut out of the seat base for the heated seat wiring so I just widened that a tad and tucked the socket behind ...

I had the headrests off when I stripped the seats to re-upholster with new foams, covers and heated elements.. I wonder if i pushed that one back in too far.. maybe I'm just not strong enough Laughing ...
