Looking good Tim I'll never understand why land rover went the way they did for the turrets

I was very pleased with myself the gear lever came up in the right place These new turrets are way better than the originals which just trap mud and rust way too easily ( that said mine were in fine fettle for a 14 year old). The manifolds are the original lexus fitment albiet with the three bolt flange cut off. I'm going to weld the offcuts back on with the holes for the oxygen sensors but with a smaller 2 bolt flange. Then I need to figure where to put the cats as it's a tight fit down there. I see from your page the rubber pipes were shot to fuel tank too. I replaced all these too while apart.

The perishing hoses is nothing new is it lol.
I was considering using standard ls400 manifolds but modifying them to fit too, as I haven't seen a lot of options locally for tight fitments or at least more suitable for a setup in a defender. I've seen 2uz manifolds fitted to 1UZs but again I can't find any. What are you doing for the exhaust? I'm thinking of buying a Stainless system from the mid pipe back, and then having just some down pipes made to a Y piece. I've watched a lot of CartuneNZ recently and he recommends a 2"- 2.75" Pipe for optimal torque and drive ability... Then again, I want the noise. 4.0 V8 Defender 90 My Instagram |

The springs are britpart HD+2" and the shocks are terra firma been on for about 6 years no complaints. That said the near side front needs replacing now I might go for old man emus next. Any objections?

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you Seriously though I'm going with 57mm or 2 1/4" old money Phoenix reckon a balance then crossover. I was just going to go with a crossover after the cats and twin exits with the option of adding cherry bomb type things if it's too loud |

I plan on using the Standard TD5 rad on mine. Don't see why you can't use it. 4.0 V8 Defender 90

I was trying to escape buying another radiator.
My thinking was that the difference in size between the TD5 rad and the standard LS400 rad isn’t much. And I’m going to be using a revotec electric fan. I might have a think about it and probably end up saying f### it to the old bank balance 4.0 V8 Defender 90 My Instagram |

Do you have a part number for the v8 rad Greeni? My guy wiring it up said the tdci rad which is the same as the td5 rad is not big enough I too have fitted a revotec fan. |
