I was going to suggest a split pipe, leaking joint, manifold or similar but you've probably sussed the probable cause. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

depending on the width, you could possibly put a solid tube in the middle and use jubilee clips to repair it ?

Yes it was the repaired split pipe MOG
![]() The pipe is very short with a kink in it Steve so difficult to repair. I'll see if anyone has one off a scrappy on a SAAB forum and failing that dig out the dosh! - my wife has gone whistling away in it anyway, shouldn't do any harm until I fix it properly...another one of my not so good temporary fixes trying to save money ![]() |
