The ABS system works fine without any engine signals but obviously traction (and stability control if using a late system) wont be fully functional. its debateable how efficient the standard traction system would be without some reprogramming for a much higher power output. ingredients are looking lovely by the way Christmas in February

Lots of progress. What are you doing about transmission control?

I would be fitting the wabco ABS/TC not the late DSC system, and ideally I would be looking to retain traction control as well as ABS so need the engine signals to the ABS ECU. 1989 90 4.3 V8 2012 L405 OF 2014 D4 HSE Lux (SOLD) 2015 90 HT (SOLD) @d9o.mf |

If you are fitting the ATB or Qauife centre diff you shouldnt really have any traction issues

Looking great!
I love that marsland offer new chassis with a pre fitted plate to build a custom engine mount off. 1989 90 4.3 V8 2012 L405 OF 2014 D4 HSE Lux (SOLD) 2015 90 HT (SOLD) @d9o.mf |

The chassis is talking a bit longer to harden off, which is a good thing, I can try and get the tub done and out of the way ready to get the chassis in.
It seems to have taken me an age to do these little bits. New floor and forward-facing rear seat and new back panel Click image to enlarge Bonded in new repair panel. Click image to enlarge Reinforced seat belt mount, completed bulkhead removal and trial fitted the seats. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge underside nearly ready for it's final coat of EM121 Click image to enlarge Finally got around to unpacking some goodies Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I know it's probably not clear in the pictures but my workshop has resembled a tip for the last week, better have a tidy up before the chassis arrives. Next week will see the bulkhead back from the strippers and the engine gearbox package should arrive on Friday, fingers crossed, not that I'm ready for it I've still not sorted the mounts out, cart before the horse comes to mind. The good news on the colour is it has been narrowed down to two........... |

Ooh those new parts!! I'd love your shopping list but not the bills! Stunning work!
I'm not asking for figures but out of interest do you keep a tally of costs or is it just get what you need and hope your partner doesn't find the bills?
