Another little update on the defender, red seatbelts. I've not really thought about it before but a set came up for sale on the forum so I thought I'd give them a go.
Also put a bit of red tape on the steering wheel to see how a retrim with a red centre mark would look - I'm undecided with both so going to live with the belts for a while and see if they grow on me.  Click image to enlarge Also another landrover has been added to the fleet (for Mrs Grafty)

Grafty, Red and black you cannot go wrong, My metro gta 16v had red seat belts and black interior. So its a thumbs up from me, But don't add anymore red to it. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

It's been a bit of a slow weekend so I've been playing around trying out different mounting locations for the clock in my defender. Since fitting the rev counter it's been displaced and I miss it. After trying different ideas I settled on a location between the sunvisors. Just waiting for the 3D printer to finish but this is roughly what it will look like - Install pictures to follow

Here are the pictures of the prototype in place. Fits well around the sun visors and is the correct shape for the headlining. As luck would have it there is also a permanent live and earth at the light. So I only have to bring one wire up for the illumination

Thats so cool! 12v from the light? How’s it attached to the headlining? Some self tappers? Wish I could remember where I put my clock. Worried I might have binned it.

Yes, permanent 12v and earth at the light so I can use them and just run and illumination feed up to it. As for attaching I'm not sure yet. As it's a prototype there aren't any fixing points. I may epoxy some short bolts to the underside as studs then use repair washers on the back to fix to the headlining 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
