The torque on the 90 has to be a typo, otherwise it's not going to be a very flat curve.

Digger 2000 was referring to a D240 which is the 4 cylinder diesel with regard to the 22" wheels. |

The D240 with 22” that had come with 6 piston callipers was someone in the new Defender Facebook group. My car order expected in December is D250 but like me he wanted 22” rims and the option to be able to buy additional set of 18” for off road use. It wasn’t until he ordered the 18” steel wheels through his dealership that they realised they wouldn’t fit because it had the 6 pistons callipers, even the dealerships chief engineer thought the factory had put the wrong callipers on.
Anyway today I got straight on the phone and managed to change the order to the standard 20” rims that come on the first edition spec which will come with the 2 pistons callipers. But the strange thing was that the dealerships systems didn’t have any of the information about the 22” wheel option changes to the 6 pistons setup, they asked me to screenshot it so they could see what I was talking about! Looks like their systems aren’t up to date. I’ve probably saved a few other peoples orders that will have to be amended because I bet I’m not the only one that wanted 2 sets of wheels one being big set for day to day driving the other being for off road. |

Covered in mud the colour of front wheel looks a lot better than the rear. It's almost colour coded to the the square feature:

Front skid plate is much better! They have the tow hook exposed.

Just seen someone in the New Defender Facebook group post that one of the turbos blew on P300 with only 3000 miles on the clock!

read that, i think he is in Canada, he managed to limp it to the dealers an hour away, mostly to the consternation of the fellow motorists tailing him What is even more interesting from this post, is his use of the side box for such an eventuality, very well equipped Click image to enlarge yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

The chap puts some real time and effort into his videos and is a much better source of information than anything i have seen put out officially by JLR.
I have only one criticism - I wish he'd get a camera that can actually focus close in! JLR charging £12.00 for a bespoke wheel nut when the standard variant it's based on is £1.50. Says a lot of what they think of their customer base... |

I bet the national news claims this morning will be causing a bit of angst in Warwick and Gaydon, only 9 years left to develope and tool up the production lines for EV Land Rovers. At least they aren’t considering banning the sales of used petrol and Diesel engined vehicles (yet!) Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Hi Tim, you already know my opinion that the heavier vehicles in the Land Rover catalogue need hydrogen fuel cells. The smaller lighter ones can manage on batteries. R&D will have to be stepped up big time if the brand is to survive. I always thought my 240D would be my last ICE vehicle anyway. Early days yet but its been faultless so far. 2020 Defender 110 SE 240D: Fuji White.
