Tested the diesel heater as its not been used since March. Took a while to kick in but pumped out the heat when it did Smile
Need more vents to get air into the rear load bed of the 110. Another job to add to the list. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yesterday placed this in the back:

Was so wet the last week, damp seats from damp clothes. Wet dogs and generally made everything damp. Not good for many reasons.
It has collected that much moisture (the blue fluid). In just 12hours and works surprisingly well at drawing out moisture and damp.
It’s an Aero 360 Dehumidifer, it’s not powered so no batteries or power supplies you can just place it in when you’re not using it. No Guts, No Glory.

Over the weekend removed the bonnet and wing chequer plates so the 110 can have the front end sprayed. While off, this is an ideal to get the chequer plate blasted and powder coated in Satin black.

They look good. Do you have a location or trailwise ID? Always looking for non scratchy lanes....

Only 8t. Just about squeezed them in, with a couple on the back seat.

The big steps are over 200kgs each, the small ones 140kg. But we had help dropping them off.

Going to be fun fitting them. The 150cm steps are on one, long, 20-step flight. Shocked

Will send photos when done. Monsieur Le Grenadier

For the first time in my entire LR ownership (17 years) I have paid a garage to do a repair job.

I got Vanstone's in Launceston to replace the EGR cooler, as I was

A) On my week off work

B) Knee deep in the rebuild of my IIA

C) It's a fiddaly job that isn't one for this time of year in the driveway.

I've always had for sometime a very minor loss of coolant as in 500ml every 12K and there wasn't any other signs of it's disappearance, but things like a minor hose weep that are hot will evaporate before leaving a trace.

When the clutch was done there was a nice Pink trail down the inside of the downpipe. and as it is a known issue with the puma's I didn't want a potential weep turning into a waterfall. I know of two different owners who have cooked theirs due to ignoring a loss of coolant.

Sooo Hopefully no more water loss Cool Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest
