They look very much like standard NAS lights. Will be very easy to find (or replace with an LED version). Darren

I believe they are the same as NAS units. They are stamped with Pieri as the manufacturer.
Changing to LED is on the to do list, but it's not a priority on the finances just now. Keith |

Darren,
I'll admit already that I'm struggling to find them easily. So far my only success is thexmod.com (other than lots of options if I want to change to LED units). Keith |

No worries, I was hoping that as all I need to replace was the lens I may get away with an easier search/better compatibility.
Looks like it will be a full unit (roughly the same price as a NAS LED lamp). Perhaps my original ones will be worth selling if and when I do change to LED. Keith |

Just for my clarity... Is the Military Land Rover one the same as the Penman trailer one? Or is it just the Penman that is unique? |

nope the penman trailer plugs that i have and have had are all different. eg the ind only fits that plug so you cant fit the wrong lens etc..
they tired tp make them squaddie proof all it means is you get loads of them taped in place |

Picture of the broken lens
Click image to enlarge And the holder from the rear Click image to enlarge The rear of the adjacent stop/tail has a different plug as it has 3 wires terminated instead of the two on the indicator. I have no idea how these compare to other military units but they're different to those on my 110 as the holders didn't have the 90 at the back for the plugs to connect from underneath. Keith |

Does the grey plug on the back of the light come off, leaving it looking like this?
If so, a standard civilian type lamp can be used, refit your grey bit. Click image to enlarge Edit, just read MDM's post, it seems they're completely different housings. |

Flatdog,
https://www.flatdoguk.com/nas-indicator-amber~1389 The Perei one are better quality, but if it's a temporary fix, cutting the lens off and fixing it to your old housing, a Wipac one above should be ok. Last edited by DSC-off on 2nd Aug 2020 11:09am. Edited 1 time in total |
