Thanks Steve, just wanted something tough & cheaper than a steel one. Would have had one of Errol’s but logistically it just didn’t work. All in with a brand new case it cost £225.00 including back plate & ss fixings. If a good second hand one would have come up it would be £90.00 cheaper.

I have fitted rails on the driver side of ours now so would consider his option going forwards....

those gwyn lewis guards are one of the first mods i do to mine after a steam clean and chassis protection. i also cable tie the bottom of the rear like you have done! Cheers

They’re good aren’t they James, the locker is the other side so Gwyn kindly sold me a single ( great bloke) as for the cable tie it just stops it flapping at the bottom about the only thing that you can do.

So, trip down to the fabricators. 1st fitting of the main unit & apart for a corner to be cut ( to give a panel some more tolerance) it’s looking good.

I do rather like the water connector for the back window blank ... and its one of the many ‘I’d like to do that’ jobs !!
Thinking of having some gas and water connectors at that point for the outside use ... The list grows longer every day!
