Capability and reliability will be a big deal. I think of my Defender as an urban tractor. I know it's not a car with all the comforts and electronic gadgets - but I like it. I am no mechanic but I want to learn to look after and fix it myself. I don't want an ECU but I don't think that will be an option with todays regs, but what do the military want and could this be an alternative?

I think they would be crazy to offer it with anything less than 3500KG braked trailer capacity, hopefully with a 4000KG coupled brake capability to match the Defender.

I am sure that if you check out the video's on the Grenadier facebook page the chief engineer states quite clearly that the towing capacity is 3.5 tonnes

The door mirror on my late RRC was smashed by said white van man.

Electrically adjusted and heated, it was a nightmare to replace.

Hopefully the Grenadier is aimed at those of us with arms, and who are quite happy to adjust the mirror manually, as long as it is cheap and simple to replace.
