I've just read an article on the ThisisMoney website that says hydrogen power will be available in the future, running off an Ineos by-product! Darren

I think I will stick with what I have.
Im sure the new design will grow on me, as maybe the new Defender will too, but they are not a match on what I have already |

I agree - you need to have some money to buy the vehicle - but it maybe selling ‘Trendy youth’ to the middle-aged !
From what I have read and seen from their site - I think this still needs to be done before manufacture and may need some tweaks to comply .. I like it...
Would prefer the rear side window so be at the same level as the others but a piece of wrap would sort that...or in Black it would look cool The only other bit I'm unsure is the front grill, but guessing there will be many options How much are these going to be, and what engines? BMW? Click image to enlarge Overall having just seen the new Defender yesterday, this looks very promising indeed. |

I like the nod to Series 1 pork pie rear lights. In fact I like the whole thing - wonder if you can spec one in a Grassmere greenish, or deep bronze green? 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.

I agree - you need to have some money to buy the vehicle - but it maybe selling ‘Trendy youth’ to the middle-aged ! That is exactly what it is. They might be a bit daft, but JLR aren’t daft enough to think that 20 something young families can afford to spend that sort of money on a car. But middle aged blokes who miss being in their twenties can and will. |

When this goes into production, I think it'll hit the prices of used Defenders more than the new Defender. Darren

This Grenadier is great , Such a shame it doesn’t have a green oval .
It’s precisely what we’d be looking for to replace the farm vehicles , the new defender was an utter let down in that department . Historically we’ve always used defenders and was concerned our next purchase was going to be a Japanese pick up , not anymore. I can see why the Grenadier has received some negative comments on styling but for me looks are second to build quality and engineering . The new Defender is simply the other way round ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/ |
