Ah fantastic didn’t know it was that easy looks like she served my old corps (REME) if issued to WKSP which is fitting as that’s the colours she is going to fly under me. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Awesome cheers camelman
Took a long drive home today after visiting the parents (now we are allowed in our “bubble”) and stopped off at one of my favourite places for a quick pic and axle stretch. Well been doing some deals and swaps with a friend for some bits towards the lightweight over the last few days:
Correct dash with multiple layers of paint, nitromos dug out and cleaning in progress: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Also managed to get a few bits to start removing the carling switches and bring her back to military spec: Click image to enlarge As she only had one fuel tank and no tap I’ve managed to source some take offs to overhaul and then fit: Click image to enlarge I’ve also picked a few bits off the bay so hopefully they shall arrive soon So it’s all slowly coming together, currently in talks about reinstatement of the FFR parts.... hmmm when does it stop 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

Well today I finally managed to get the first two coats of NATO green on and got rid of that horrible ww2 of green
I’m once again going for an in service paint job so a good key sanding and removal of the POs excessive runs etc was all the treatment she got, the windscreen frame had a quick blast of etch primer prior to painting. Looking good mate. Keep up the good work and awesome effort. Worth it in the end. Fortunately I’m mostly done , if there is such a thing as “done”

Well I’ve managed to get the NATO green and black on I’m hoping the cammo means I can sneak another one in under the radar, a 101 doesn’t look too different to a lightweight eh

Black paint and wire wheel was out again this morning before work, second coat done on the tank, pedals now black instead of rusty brown and the chassis rail that’s soon to be hidden by the second tank was cleaned and painted also.
