Yea I’m still tracking down lenses etc
Yes they are 6.50s correction 7.50s There was a set of I think 8 on eBay the other day but they disappeared before I had a chance to try and sort out collection I will once cash allows get the earlier pattern tyres that are more suited to the lightweight albeit in 7.50 as these have started to show some small cracks but are safe enough for now. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ Thanks Keith
The seats have been replaced with originals from PA Blanchard, as the set in there had seen better days and one of the bases was incorrect, the rear seat is off a later model 110 but the mounting holes lined up on one side of the tub but not the other so I’ll only have one rear seat to avoid drilling the tub. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

Hmmm! Disaster with my seats this week. 8 weeks ago whilst really nice weather I took the kids for ice cream with the canvas and doors off. Upon arriving back I pulled the whole car cover over the LWT forgetting to pull the canvas back on. Oooops fast forward 8 weeks of heavy rain and every drop going into the cabin. I only found out last week when take the cover off again. Seats, paperwork, military kit and other stuff swimming. The vinyl is ok but the sponge and wooden bases are mouldy and stinking. So goosed. Have to replace with new. Keith |

What military kit do you keep in yours? I thought it was only me who had sets of 58patt etc in the back 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

I could sell 58 patt back to the army Iv got that much but then who’d want it. I’ll never know how they managed to soldier efficiently with 58. My 78 is a GS 12v but Iv fitted full radio kit and dexion rack. Anyway, I need to cough up for new seats now.

Well yesterday was a little bit of fun as the local Land Rover club organised another off road event, and as the lightweight was now operational it would of been rude not to take her, now I’ve never used a leafer off road my career started with the early 90/110 fleet but boy she didn’t disappoint, made it everywhere I wanted to go and a few places the jap stuff didn’t by far the oldest vehicle plodding around the course she ran flawlessly and put a few smiles on anyone who came along for the ride
