No, afraid not. It was one of the guys in the club.
It was a beast off-road and suited the winch challenge scene back then. To be honest I loved the early events with full bodied vehicles, I took part in four with my 300TDI 110 but in the end was priced out when people started to build the tray backs and buggies and they are more a speed event now rather than problem solving and vehicle/winching finesse. Good ole days ![]() |

So which model is this one? The wheelbase seems shorter, at least the section behind the door to the wheel arch than the two others posted above. |

That is a very early model, possibly No1, as the picture came from @IbexVehicles. I don't know much about the early ones, but I think it will be a 93" WB
Looking again at the green challenge truck it looks like a 250 (100"), sorry my mistake. A late 240, with the rear arch closer to the door. ![]() |

Yeah, I took part in the Warn Winch Challenge in 1999, we were in a Series 3 LWB v8. Standard apart from tyres and a 8274 on the front! Great times ![]() That's when the top teams had Ibex's. I promised myself to get one, one day and couldn't let the chance go by when a nice one came up. I've had it almost 7 years now. |

Some good coverage for the brand in Farmer's Weekly:
![]() Click image to enlarge https://www.fwi.co.uk/machinery/4x4s/briti...lternative Anyone know what system this could be? "Instead of a fuse board, all wires terminate in the touchscreen computer in the cabin and there are electric breakers that trip if there’s a fault. All of this is sealed to prevent water ingress, and if there are any problems with the screen, it’s relatively simple to replace. “It’s basically a clever way of being simple,” says Mr Foers." Didn't realise that there was an 18 month waiting list! |
