Check your oils in the diffs and transfer box.
Clunk as you lift off and on the throttle could be backlash in the diff but also worth checking the prop shaft ujs Hold my beer and watch this! |

chuddering is usually handbrake binding
if its a whine, everything in the driveline is worth checking UJs drive members shafts diff if its a whine noise and transmission related most likley to be a diff in my experience when in coast. The resistance to driving is the speed the same as it was for any given gear/rpm? Cheers James 110 2010 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

I think my handbrake might be binding. When I start moving and pressing petrol there is a shudder I feel and hear in the drive train. The traction controll light also comes on then. Or.... Is it perhaps an issue with the traction controll sensors? |

Handbrake is easy to check; just wind the adjuster in until it bites then back it if 1.5 turns. This is how it should be set, with any slack taken up by the handbrake cable adjuster instead. When I had the issue I wound mine in quarter turn and it bit, so I knew it wasn’t right! Chuddering gone after this!

Is this adjuster located on the housing of the handbrake? |

Yes. Square adjuster on the fixed side of the drum.

I pulled the 2 fuses for tc and abs and the problem is gone. Next step is to clean those speed sensors on the wheels i guess.
