If you want the good stuff, this is it.
https://www.rocol.com/products/stainless-steel-anti-seize But I just use copper slip, as it has many other uses and is cheap. |

I use Weicon paste whenever I have the misfortune to need to use stainless fasteners. It's very good stuff.

Interesting, some on here have seen the light.
![]() ![]() Ceramic grease then again is the best product for wheel hubs. Eric You never actually own a Defender. I've always used copper slip but am going to start using the Molly grease I've just bought from Gwyn Lewis and see how that goes.

I use (have always used for the last 30+ years) copper grease for hubs / wheel nuts / wheel spindles - it has never failed to prevent them seizing. What makes ceramic better? |

Which type was it that came with the Naka SS bolt kits?
I have half a tube of that still and it’s lasted me literally years for my needs. TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Berner.
They also sell tubs branded BMP. This also comes in small packets with other Nakatanenga fittings. I'm no expert but they all seem much of a muchness to me. However the Weicon was more readily available. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

Ceramic is totally metals free. So ideal for isolating a steel hub from an alloy wheel. Eric You never actually own a Defender. But so is the Weicon? Don't remember what it says for Copaslip but the Weicon states: "Original sealed containers have a shelf life of 24 months." So, once opened it's good for how long? At the rate most DIYers go through a product like this, that must be most of the product either going in the bin or being used well outside it's design life. ![]() Last edited by Supacat on 5th Dec 2019 7:46am. Hylomar blue might be your friend for this application. The original product was developed in conjunction with Rolls-Royce and was used for sealing aircraft engines. |
