114,000 on my 2005 TD5
I think that these vehicles like to be used, mine’s in use all day every day and has never given any trouble. It’s the most reliable vehicle l’ve owned. Never thought l would say that about a Defender, having read reviews before l bought it in 2014 (with 56,000 miles) |

I bought it with 60000 on the clock. It now has 116000 and I have never had any engine issues. Gearboxes are a different matter however in fact, the gearbox has been my only issue. It really has been a remarkably reliable vehicle if I discount the gearboxes (plural) 2002 110 td5

Bought my 2002 110 with 102k just over 10 years ago and now it's just in front of excossack's at 224800 and rising daily.
It allmost made 180K on the original gearbox as with the engine, got to 205K before the head went porous or cracked and let diesel to the sump. Not because I'm a cheapskate, well maybe a little, but pretty much everything in the major component side has been replaced with take off parts from breakers. My rationale on this is that pretty much all of the replacements have come from motors which have done far less miles than mine. The gearbox came from a 2004 90 that got written off in an accident, the engine from a D2 that succumbed to the rust bug at 100K. Repurposing these parts are what we're supposed to be doing to help save the planet with our gas guzzling 4x4's |

174K Kms on the clock in my 1999 110 CSW... no issues since I have owned it. Bought it with 118K back in 2015. Its my daily and the only failure has been a wheel bearing and a leaking water pump. Been extremely reliable. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

Pah... Gearboxes... on my forth T-box this year and we still have 3 months to go... All in all just low quality output seals on reconditioned boxes. This one seems to be holding its oil... |

Bought mine in 2013 with 65k on it from main dealer, had front diff go (replaced with reconditioned one).
Last year as I had some spare cash replaced: all hoses radiator intercooler callipers brake hoses brake pads brake disks tyres injector o rings other seals head checked exhaust glow plugs injector wire harness half shafts wheel bearings. Cost me a fair bit but now have reasonable peace of mind |
