Loooonng time since I've done anything to the 90. Since the last update I've been learning to TIG weld.
I have therefore decided the the only logical next step is a full, custom, stainless exhaust system
So I've bought myself some mandrel bends and V-band clamps. The next few evenings are going to be dedicated to making a system. Here's the original downpipe vs the 76mm stuff I've bought, quite a difference

Made a bit of progress on the exhaust today. Got the down pipe tacked up ready for purging and welding

It's on!
76mm from turbo to tail pipe, all mandrel bends an no silencers 
It's amazing how much its opened up the bottom end. There is absolutely zero turbo lag making the throttle much sharper. The problem is its a touch loud under full load  next step is a valved silencer so I can have silent and loud as it's too loud to live with day to day 
I really enjoyed making it, very satisfying learning how to TIG weld. Hopefully it lasts another 17 years like the original one did
