Today's job completed. My rivet gun wasn't really up to the job so it was pretty tricky but we got there in the end.

I did that mod a while back and it is a very handy improvement indeed. My riveter wasn’t up to it either, so I used a quick grip clamp to close the riveter in a nice controlled manner.

Yeah we have some security measures on the way and it’s always boxed in when at home. First big job is to make it more comfortable in the back for the pooch. I’m going to add some sound deadening and carpet. Also I think I’ll get some BF Goodrich too as we love them on our camper van already. There’s so many goodies I want to buy but I need to take one step at a time

I wish I could’ve taken loads of pictures because there were some incredible vehicles there, but unfortunately they weren’t for sale, just in storage for owners so we didn’t bother as to protect their clients.

Small job this afternoon, changing the air filter. Glad I did though as it had the wrong air filter in it. The one I removed is for a TD5.
Click image to enlarge I also have the dreaded breather pipe failure. It'll go into the local independent to have that done as it's a bit beyond me at this stage. Click image to enlarge |

Good work, I wonder if anything else needs checking if the wrong air filter was used?

Yeah exactly! It's certainly got me thinking. I'm going to change all the fluids and filters soon to make sure it's ok.
And yeah the mudflaps are on the list but a long way down said list |

Progress is taking place in the back to make it a bit more comfortable. It's amazing the difference it is making. We have some carpet on the way tomorrow too so that'll be fun to try and fit nicely.
