For the boring bit. Managing to average 29.5mpg ish which isn't bad considering how hilly it is around here

Spotted! Think we zipped past each other earlier today, on the A82 by Laggan Locks. There can't be that many dark blue Defenders like that, with an "LSK" plate. I was in my trusty old Red 110 SW

I did wave... but I think you must have wanted two hands on the wheel approaching that bend!

I did wave!

But it was only a few fingers as we were approaching the bend at a fair lick!

We're having a great time, the weather hasn't been too bad really. Yesterday was a bit of a wash out, but otherwise we have been very lucky!

Unfortunately Mrs Grafty has work on Monday so we are working our way back to Devon now. We'll be back soon

P.S I'm lead to believe that LSK plates are originally from Scotland? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Apologies - I didn't see the wave, but ... I suppose we did have a closing speed of something over 90mph on a twisty, windy road in the wet!

My first thought on seeing the LSK plate in some of your pics was 'Caithness' - at least the 'SK' part of that - but I'd need to check.

I've fallen a couple of days behind!

We've been around Skye, staying a night in Portree and are now heading home

We have also done a day in the lakes. Visiting the Hardknott and Wrynose Pass and the lakeland motor museum.

Funnily enough Mrs Grafty noticed that the Ford model T van in the museum must have been the inspiration for the defender roof shape
