i have recently changed my fuel filter and that has made things run smoother, not sure if thats your problem, just a thought.

should be:

1. mass meter
2. camshaft position sensor
3. engine rev sensor
4. fuel filter
5. what else?

- look if during the "problem" the VVT actuator is moving in the same manner

- try to disconnect the battery for 1 or 2 hours (ECU RESET) and then test again

- see with a voltmeter if the tension on the battery are fluctuating like the engine Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

Do you mean you only get this problem when the Air Con is ON Question Question Question

If that is the case then I would get the Air/Con system Pressure tested.

It could be that it is low on refrigerant or even over full and the Air/Con is switching on an off frequently thus altering the engine load frequently leading to the engine idle speed oscillating. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
