What do people use?
I've been using a cheapo one that fits on the top of an oil bottle but it's always been a pain to use and is now leaking oil all over the floor when you use it. I've been looking at the ones that look like garden sprayers, do they work? What about the ones that are like giant syringes? the garden sprayer type appeals to me because you can set it going whilst you drain the next part that needs servicing but if it's not up for gearbox oil then it's no good. I imagine the syringe type would be very difficult to get in to the gearbox and transfer box. I'm open to general recommendations (this type is good) or specific "buy this one" type recommendations. |

Small funnel stuck in the end of 15mm copper pipe
 faultless  I've put a slight bend in the end to sit better in the side of the gearbox..... |

The cheap syringes are all crap, as you've discovered.

I have a B&Q one - had it a few years ow - works perfect

To bring this to a close, I sort of went down the sprayer bottle but with a bit of an upgrade.
I bought a Sealey VS70095 http://www.sealey.co.uk/PLPageBuilder.asp?...ctid=16206 Which is basically a garden sprayer designed to pump gearbox oil. Used it this afternoon to change my front diff oil and it worked very well. A significant upgrade over the previous pump. It's so much cleaner, less effort and quicker. |

Real men squeeze it out of the one litre bottle spouts, spilling it all over the floor, topping each bottle up so you can enough out, while dribbling it down the side, so you can get it right down in your arms and sleeves so your overalls and entire body get that nice leauβ Du EP90 stank! Nothing more British than the smell of old school Waxoyl and EP90 in the morning.
Along with a camp out, tent and some old fashioned bangers on a grille cooking. Whilst you're there your subconsciously checking out the chassis and checking if there is any corrosion setting in. TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ
