I have a spanner I put on the flats. A short sharp hit with a hammer cracks it loose enough to undo it normally 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car)

I did try that to start with, but it didn’t help.
This allowed the slight tension on the pulley for the tap to be effective |
