Mini Defender 90?
What do you think of it. Looks pretty good to me, could be nearer to a Defender than the new LR Defender when it arrives. https://cars.suzuki.co.uk/new-cars/jimny/ |

I really don't think jlr will care, they are quite clearly not about selling anything at this end of the market these days. It's all about "premium"
I like the sound of the Jimny, but don't get me wrong, I won't be swapping my Defender for one as they are very small, even when compared to a 90, but I think it's the closest thing to a traditional Defender in spirit we will realistically see since it (sadly) stopped production. |

Hi,
I think the new Jimny looks like a cracking bit of kit, I'd be very tempted if I had the money to chuck around. That said, if you want something to fulfill the role of a Defender as a work vehicle- Toyota have introduced a Landcruiser Commercial. - Permanent 4wd with centre diff lock - No rear seats - No unecessary stuff (it has a CD player, and Aircon) - Wipe out rear load bay. Its a cracking machine, I drove one a few weeks ago and really liked it. It could do with some taller wheels and tyres, and the approach angle isn't amazing but other than that its great. I wish one of the manufacturers would get on with doing a pickup with permanent 4wd, centre diff lock and the ability to be in low without being locked in 4wd- I could get on board with that. Chris |

I think the top spec L200 have the sort of 4wd system you are asking for. It certainly used to anyway. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I reckon my 4 year old nephew would love that. Is it remote control or a ride on? |
