No sorry as I said I got shot of mine as I got sick of it sort of kind of working. Maybe try Bell Autos or RPI engineering (v8engines) as they used to do them and stock parts and cables, that's going back 6 years though.

In case somebody has the same problem with Faultmates and their cables.
I bought some 15 pin serial plugs in Panamá, filed them down to fit, soldered nice flexible cables from the Electricity board on the pins and dipped it all in Poxypol So I have a new main cable, a new Can bus one and a new direct CPU for the BECMs My old toughbook now works fine through a whole remap session. Another solution is by Bearmach's cables for the non pro Hawkeye and use a gender changer. Who wants to have a cable sent round the world Fixing Land Rovers in rural Guanacaste |

Thank you, lots of good information here. I've been though the Autologics and Rvacoms. Have a Hawkeye around as a loaner, to friends, but pretty much only use SDD now, its expensive and not the cure-all one would expect. So I'm always looking for better. I like the idea of compact and easy to use. Really appreciate all the effort you put into this.

Thank you Brian for the effort you put into this post/thread.
Are these recommendations still valid in 2022? Cheers Ben |

Brian hasn't posted on here for some years, unfortunately. The technical stuff will still be perfectly relevant, though.
I haven't waded back through the entire thread but the only thing that stuck out from the original post is that it doesn't mention the Gap IID diagnostic tool, possibly because it came slightly later. It's an excellent bit of kit though, with great support. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Would anyone recommend a good all round diagnostic tool for 2.2 tdci and Td5 which connects to IOS.
It’s about time I bought one… |

I use the GAP IIDTool - BT. Works with iOS and Android. if you have an iPhone, get a cheaper Android unit as well as there can be quirks with the iOS version that works with the Android version.
GAP is very helpful with their support so no complaints. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy |
