Big Harold's 103600 Km = 640000 miles, so not great.
A bit better than the average, and it looks ready to change. Schuee is doing well though at 120000 miles. One of a few. |

Some surprisingly low mileages here at failure. Glad for LR warranty.

I have another defender to do 2012 @106345km.
Will be interesting to see what it looks like. Pity the engine didn't last as long. Box on the 2014 came out because it failed a clutch slave cylinder. Both will be getting updated sleeve in transfer box. Ashcroft MT82 output shaft kit and Ashcroft ATB New clutch, slave and master cylinders. Mark |

51%, 58%, pretty damning really.
Clear evidence of a design flaw, so what now? I used to have an Audi RS4 B7. The owners became aware of issues with the DRC suspension through forums such as this and put pressure on Audi who informally extended the warranty on the DRC from 3 years to 5. I feel the adaptor shaft issue on our Defenders is far more serious/potentially dangerous than leaky suspension (albeit no less expensive to fix). My 110 is now out of warranty but still clunks on gearchange despite new A frame balljoint and new one piece half shafts. 33,000 miles now. Then there is Mrs doublea's Adventure which will be out of warranty in March.
