Picked her up from Palma after two months convalescance (DCPU, not me) whilst she had her Output shaft replaced. 8hr Ferry crossing followed immediately by an 8-hr through-the-night drive from Barcelona back to the Alps

If living the dream means coming straight into the office in Cham for some viewings after only three hours sleep (in a bivvie bag under the DCPU, none of this roof-top nonsense), then I suppose I am.
When I left Palma yesterday morning it was 29c, got back to hear we're expecting 4c tomorrow and snow down to 2000m Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Yesterday went out and bought a timber farm gate, nothing huge but trailer was easiest.
Had to have a rain shower in the process and my it was slippery! Had to be very careful coming home, skidded on a wet drain cover just slowly pulling up and slightly again because people won't give way when it's narrow. Do people not understand that everyone should drive that bit slower in the wet! Often at its worst when there is a shower after it's been so dry with oil and fuel residue on the roads etc. Other than that, there is the front and rear ARB bushes to replace, other than that not much else really. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
