Replaced the sump on my 2.2 as I have added an oil temp sensor. Needed a new modified sump etc to accept the sender unit. But what a job to remove the old sump pan!!! It was absolutely solid with the sealer and it would not budge. I didn’t want to damage the bottom of the engine casing so in the end I had to cut a hole in the side of the old sump so I could get some leverage to break the seal. It came away in the end. Only took 5 hours!! Rolling with laughter If someone can tell me how this can be done easier please PM me! Short of engine out, I was in trouble But all done now with great success Thumbs Up 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Took the 90 300tdi down to Salcombe with the boat. Stopped at Taunton services to discover another coolant leak coming from the bottom connection to the rad. The spanners I had onboard weren’t big enough to nip it up, so it was top up and carry on. On the plus side the chassis looks clean....

It was disappointing how many DFLs driving mostly dark grey 110 xs and usually wearing Schoffel gilets (or Fulham lifejackets as they known in these parts) don’t wave. My lad was amazed! We just got guppy faced gawps back. Maybe it’s the farm spec pick up!!

Fitted defender 110 dual rate front springs to the rear of my 90. I can actually feel the springs compress when it goes over bumps now compared to the HD ones which were fitted from new. I think I'll change the fronts to the same when I eventually buy my fox shocks...

Blinged up my calipers while I was there.

Snook up to the unit and did some more. Looks a bit square at the moment but I have an ally angle to trim the corners, some lights to fit, few accessories and the tent should finish it off.

Currently at £275 in my amazon basket on bits for it! Can’t bring myself to checkout yet.
