Jim - I know I realise the times but some are coming quite a long way to start at that time they'd need to leave Home at about 5am
As it's a vast area, I doubt a loop will be possible, as it's such a distance to cover and time will tick by. I'm tending now to favour a route one way down and through. Thank-you for the details, very helpful indeed and good to hear that one has been graded and is good to drive. I'll look closer at the one you suggested later tonight. Hi Steve
I think you are right plan a one way route. We keep to original plan of meet at 12:00 at car park and those going laning depart no later than 13:00 and we work our way South-ish. For a sort of first trip out I think an earlier start time would be ambitious. 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |

^^^^ Yep, sounds perfect to me.
As the meet location is to the north east area we can hopefully do a south west sweep hopefully. Or a south then to west movement. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Legin - Stick to the original time. It worked well for the D44 meet. (This way people can leave earlier to allow more time for arriving at midday. Who knows what traffic or hold ups there may be.
Especially for you guys coming a long way.) Daisy90 (Richard) - Yep no problem, no worries on group size. We will spit into multiple groups. This is looking like a very very good turn out, so as suggested we will stick to the GLASS recommendation of no more than 6 per convoy. So we are looking at three groups at the moment. Okay, I've been a bit quiet on this for a little while as I have been so busy.
I'm hoping to be looking at further route details within the next few days / this week. Although I can plan a rough route, and will stick to the plan of a sweep across and over the Plains one way from the already planned route. It will much depend on the day, the weather and if there are any closures applicable. However, the meet its self and a few lanes will be guaranteed for certain. Just the format and route and which that is taken may be different here when the time comes. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Having watched Acuss01 video the other day I was thinking I'd like to do a run down to Salisbury, now I've just seen this thread! Would be nice to meet but just need to get a pass or make a weekend of it. Please put me down as a possible, if that's OK?
