Its been playing up on and off for a while, so got back and took it apart. WD40 all over and checked the workings... Seemed all fine so while apart added some silent coat as I have not done each rear door as yet Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Lucky I was under carport as rain has stopped play on anything else, I did venture into the garage the SIII will live and have a mini tidy.. and man thinking time were should I put a tool rack |

Thanks Clayton, its a lovely old thing which was well looked after by previous owners and which I continue to do. I had Morgans before this which were great but a bit too brutal for long journeys, the Porsche on the other hand is great for long trips especially when the other half is with you

Finished fitting the winch on/off solenoid to the battery box. Mounted it on the panel facing towards the seat. To be sure no wire can touch the seat box, I lined the panel where the solenoid is mounted with a sheet of foam.
Re-sealed the top of the windscreen where it meets the corner of the roof Re-sealed around the rear side windows 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Removed the cards on the rear doors to get the door locks working consistently again; finally got round to replacing a broken fitting for the button on one door at the same time.

Defender9, a question. Never managed to work out, but with the Porsche, the exhausts come out in the centre of the rear of the car? How the hell do you fit a tow bar on it? I'll also go get my coat |

The last thing you need on a rear engined car, is a tow bracket.

Today I bought a new Adwest PAS box for my 110. The dripping box has been an advisory for 6 years so I think it is about time to sort it out... fun weekend ahead
