So today was the day, primer has cured nicely and the top coat was ready to go on.
I read the data sheet instructions and mix the paint 4:1 with the hardener, I then spend 20min adjusting the gun in every possible combination to get a nice consistent spray, could I do it? Could I  ! Now do I give up or crack on?
Time running out until I go and I have a full gun of paint,........ I'm going for it, paint coming out with a little orange peel effect but hopefully it will dry nicely. So I get 3/4 of the chassis painted and run out of paint, mix myself a new batch exactly the same 4:1 ratio (doing this in paint pots so I know I'm doing it correctly) and what does this paint do first pull of the trigger? It comes out perfectly a nice steady coat, even and no orange peel effect  so I finish it off and then go over a few areas to try and even out the coating, making sure I get a good amount of paint inside the outriggers and the rear crossmember. Fingers crossed it looks good once dry fully cure time is up to 7 days as I have used Jotun hardtop flexi a marine 2pac paint so hopefully this will last a long time.

Nice easy job today, with the "holiday" looming and everyone back into work tomorrow the chassis needed to move.
So off to the little lock up I have with it, did manage to scratch it in a couple of places and noticed a few missed areas so a second coat will happen with the chassis hanging from a different angle to try and get the missed areas. Here's the chassis in its new home, the last update I will do for a while

Well I'm now back and can continue on with the V8

Back in again today and spent time turning a shinny bulkhead:

With my move fast approaching and still having to fit in some holidays in between I have managed to get a few bits done today.
Started to get the bulkhead painted with etch primer along with some suspension bits and the gearbox cross member.
