Currently working for Sony Playstation on the replacement of their back end systems that 3rd party developers use to take a concept for a game right through to the Playstation store. My job is to make the switch from 3 regional platforms to one new global platform happen safely with no disruption for the supply chain e.g EA / Activision etc. and several thousand independents.
It's as exciting as it sounds..... |

Click image to enlarge However with the downturn in OilandGas who knows by the end of the year I might be dangling by a rope over a pit of sewage Zero in my job to do with defenders other than the odd spotting one in The Congo. 3 Landrovers |

Personally I loved this thread, showed the huge variance in 'typical' defender enthusiasts, was to be honest a bit surprised at the few negative posts. That said I don't begrudge others nor judge them on their choices. 3 Landrovers |

That actually does sound interesting. Is there much software development involved? I'm a computer programmer at an independent game development studio. |

I'm a Thatcher and been doing this job which i love and would not change at all for about 36 years now and i'm lucky that i use my landy for work as well
This first pic.... It was easier to have the materials in the trailer and not the landy and what we did not use it could be left in the trailer over night and the sheep could not get at it...... Click image to enlarge This second pic is of the roof stripped off and being prepared ready for the new thatch to go on...... Click image to enlarge 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Teario - yes, massive amounts of software development. The testing overhead is massive. I'm resolutely not techie, I just sort of get stuff to happen.

Many things for many people
Basically a jack of all trades with an ME - working in events, film and theatre. One of the more conversation prompting photos I can find of me at the moment at work is below, although that's not me in the foreground, I'm one of the others further back: Click image to enlarge Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |
