Don't know about parking but if you need a hotel the night before the Holiday inn is right next to where the ships dock, i did a season sailing out of southampton and when i signed my mother on to cruise she stayed there and its perfect, walking distance to the ship..
the 'titanic' dock as i called it is a little further out of the way, we only docked there once and it was unfortunatley the windiest arrival in southampton I've done... few concerned faces on the bridge that morning... |

Hello Mean Green
Several options here... http://www.cruisesouthampton.com/parking-at-the-port I've only done the deliver / collect thing, worth checking the Hotels but they may not 'look after your car' whilst your away, so a 'short term' parking option at a secure location is probably your best best (like flying) Click image to enlarge SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Likewise , if you want to park on my drive in Winchester you are welcome . Cruising is big business in Southampton and there are a lot of fly by night parking operations that seem to come and go . Some are great some not so.
You could alternatively fly in to Southampton airport ? HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response |

Thanks for the replies and offers. I have a little time to look into the options, but I may take someone up on the offers.
Will have kids and OAP in tow, so will have a look as what is easiest. And other half is not best flier, or that would have been the easiest option. |

Plenty of parking at dock gate 10 that's near the Holiday inn. Not to sure at dock gate 4. Try Intercuise they may do parking

I'm near Ringwood (20 ish miles from the docks) . If you don't find anything closer or convenient let me know. Probably can park it on my drive for the week.
