Gracie, our '13 90 S.W., got her yearly polish.
Took me all day, but I can take my time, & actually find it somewhat therapeutic! Pickles. |

went out for a quick run and then for some diesel. The other night me and my dad went out for a little cruse down out skirts of the northeast, just to charge the battery up and diagnose a few things. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Passed another 90, it was orange a Puma and from abroad. Definitely has LED headlights and sawtooth style due cut silver and black alloys.
Not sure what country it seemed to have a small plate, definitely typical. Also accidentally waved at a G wagon! $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

Fitted my Nak Corners and stainless mud flap brackets.
Bit of grinding and cutting required as the corners did not allow for fitting of mud flaps All came good in the end Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

^^ Nak corners? Be careful, I recently dared to abbreviate this suppliers name to Naka, and someone on here took offense of that as it apparently would be disrespectful.
Well, let me make up for that. Ich wünsche Peter und das ganse Nakatanenga team bei dieser einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr! Now back on topic. What did I do in my Defender today? We have nice dry cold winter weather here, and the Mrs. and myself took a few trips into town today with the SVX. Tonight after it got dark and the shops had closed, we made a nice long drive through a bunch of our villages to look at which one has the best Xmas lighting. And of course on some pitch dark country roads I checked if the headlights now are perfectly adjusted, this after two days ago I lowered them a bit. Seems all perfect now. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw Last edited by ericvv on 31st Dec 2016 6:30pm. Gave the 110 a wash but really needs another one and then a waxing (and probably a clay baring to remove some what looks like water stains on the paint work and some grease stains that wont wash off)
Got the top support mount in place for the dog guard In primer and drying (yesterday) Click image to enlarge Painted and fitted Click image to enlarge Now need to sort out the bottom mounts to stop the guard swinging around. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Decided the first day of the year ought to contain some mountains.
Click image to enlarge Bumped into three (unrelated) UK plated Defenders in one small French village today. Doesn't happen very often round here. Was every other car in Sussex. |
