United Kingdom 1990 Defender 90 2.5 TD HT Bronze Green
Sycro gearboxes slick shift
Bought one of these from the stoneleigh show:
http://www.onlinegearboxparts.com/product/...lickshift/

Did um and ah over buying one for 75 quid with not knowing the real difference it would make, finally got around to fit it yesterday, took about 20 mins to fit and I'm so glad I did, the gear change is so much better, closer together and feels tighter, big thumbs up 👍

Got mine there too. Fitted it yesterday but not had chance to take it for a test drive yet. Looking forward to it now!

I am toying with the idea of fitting one of these, to make gear changes easier, sometimes I struggle with second gear and sometimes 3rd gear.

It certainly makes gear changes shorter and sharper. Whether or not it will make them easier if you already have an underlying problem is not something I can comment on.

I think its me getting used to a landy Gear box, I am used to a 306 gear box.
I know landys do not like been rushed up the box, so I must learn not to drive like I am in the 306.

I can honestly say, that the throw on the gearstick in my 110 isn't such that I feel the need to go and spend money on an item that speeds up the gear change when if you have an issue you should slow the gear change down. 110 D250 SE HT
