It was done by Flatdog at Gainsborough, it looks a good job and I thought the price was reasonable.

I thought the same too, but I'm happy that they've done such a thorough job of the chassis.

Been out today supporting the Vintage Sports Car Club at their Welsh Trials today. I've been sat on a hill deep in the Radnor Forest at the ready to give the competitors vehicles a tug if they breakdown of fail the climb.
There's some wonderfull old motors out there, nothing any newer than 1930 and some such as this Mercedes 60hp that was built in 1903 Some might recognise it from it's many appearances at all sorts of Vintage races. This old girl has a 4 pot 9236cc engine and goes like a train! A couple more pictures that were taken last year as I didn't get the camera out this year, perhaps tomorrow Click image to enlarge As with all things they all have a value but it is so nice to watch these old cars being used, driving up muddy, rutted tracks that give our Land Rovers a bit of a testing, in fact most of the stages many of you would think twice about attempting let alone take a £400k Bugatti Brescia up and around some lairy countryside in Wales |

A lot of people forget that when cars like those were built, that is how many roads were!

Not today but yesterday was a big Defendering day.
Drove to Cannock with a mate in his 300Tdi 110 CSW to get a replacement steering box for my 300Tdi 110 CSW. Then fitted said steering box to mine and did the test drive thing. In total 27hrs elapsed from Steering Box failure to going round a corner. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper. Wide Track Sankey- In bits- Gone to a new home M0XQS |

Yesterday was the first day of our shoot, a glorious day on the eastern side of the Plain.
Vehicles were FFRR TDV8, 2 x 110 (including mine), 1 x FL2, 1 x Disco Sport, 1 x Disco 300TDI and a Honda CRV. All built in Britain, and the Honda even built in our great county of Wiltshire! Even better, none of them broke down |

Discovered 3rd brake light wasn't working.
Traced problem to broken circuit in rear screen. Run replacement wire behind glass seal and now fully functional 👍 |

Yesterday technically... I brought it (400miles) home! After months and months of searching. We (joint ownership between my partner and myself) finally found one we both liked!
Just to hoping its a good one! |

Rolled over 23k at lunch, and upon returning to the office found an email from the stealer telling me it'll be due a service soon. Spooky I said to my colleague. I nearly fell off my chair with laughter when they suggested perhaps LR had some sort of way of tracking it 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |

Looked forlornly at the space on the drive where the 110 should be, still, she's back on Thursday, complete with new gearbox.... That'll be cheap then Oh woe, oh woe
