Land Rover. Just been on their website as they have released specs and prices for their new Discovery. The price for the base spec and engine has now gone up to nearly £44k and it still doesn't come with satnav or parking sensors
You can buy a Eurobox for less than £10k and it would come with satnav and parking sensors as standard. They just seem to be taking the p*ss now |

I couldn't help messing about on the LR website for the All New Discovery, and clicked on the image of the vehicle inviting me to 'interact'. The irony of a blank screen with 'unexpected error' at the top wasn't wasted.

My choice of whether to use a power or manual screwdriver for a job is my decision alone. If someone else criticises my method then I pass the job over to them!!!

Two in one day!
Traffic light timing, WTF do some of them go green, amber, red in about 1-2 secs flat. And they change about 8m from when your heading towards them. You slow down in case they do change and hold back and they'll stay green. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ¥ó ®ó §ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó ´ó ¿ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸ‡¸â›½ï¸ðŸ›¢ï¸âš™ï¸ðŸ§°ðŸ’ª |

There are occasions where the precision and feel of a manual screwdriver are beneficial. So far twice this year. Electric Power, it's the future, I know, I have tasted it! Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon. |

But why is it that when I want a Philips/pozi drive screwdriver, all I have are flat heads and when I want a flat head, the shed is full of cross heads

My discovery of the year is a small but powerful battery operated impact drill/driver. Made easy work of the damper nuts.
sorry - this is a grumpy thread. Don't you just hate trying to undo stuck nuts with a spanner........ |

Account locked for 15 minutes for security reasons......GARHHHHH And that's even before I try and change my nectar card address which refuses to acknowledge I have filled in the form correctly- despite it being an autofill form! Ebay
Put an Erde trailer on ebay this morning, £95 clearly stating cash on collection. Some guy buys it and pays Paypal. I have no paypal account, don't want one and I'm not going to dish out my bank details. They've got his dosh, he wants me to refund him. It's not down to me and I'm not about to get scammed so I've wasted 3hrs trying to sort it out but can't, he's opened a unreceived item case. Why is ebay populated by greedy sods whose fingers control their brains? Stood the trailer back up in the garage to gather dust. |
