Drove it to the dealer who will take the roof off and fit back on with proper seals.

Gave the rear 1/4 of the chassis (inward facing chassis rails on both sides) a clean down, coating of Jenolite and a coating of Dinitrol. Looks better now. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Just got back from a long weekend trip to Fort William via Cameron House on Loch Lomond. The 110 DC was loaded up with bikes, tent, wife, our boy, and such like and it didn't miss a beat during the 800 mile round trip, cruising nicely at 70-75 mph. We even had space to pick up a washing machine from my Inlaws on the way back and drop it off at my brother in laws.

We did Fort William a couple of weeks ago and went up past Loch Lommond, stopping at Firkin Point for a brew. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Spent all day yesterday waxing it (a job I feel enthusiastic about for around 15 mins, then it's just a real chore!). Then today fitted the new JWS headlights and snow cowl courtesy of Brendan & Barbara. Really chuffed with how it's looking now. It's only taken 6 years to get to this point!

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Hi all, I've just had my first anniversary as a TD5 110 CSW owner and am a through and through convert (despite the replacement cylinder head ). I haven't shown the old girl any love recently and so have surprised myself by achieving the following in the space of a weekend: Exmoor Trim rear seats (with recliners) (bought 2nd hand on e-bay) Coloured Wipac LEDs A few more security 'layers' (X-Eng gear lock and Disklok) New Lock Barrels all round Bizarrely the lock barrels took the longest, not helped by my propensity for refitting the door cards without replacing all of the lock components Next up I'm hoping to fit one Exmoor Trim fold up seat in the back (as the bench seats will no longer fit behind the new second row) with a 2 man bench seat on the other side - If anyone has any idea how I can fit 2 man bench seat it would be greatly appreciated! Best of all SWMBO was happy as the majority of the upgrades were tagged as safety and security improvements. Happy days... |

People!!! We need more pics
Today Mrs Greeni and I had a run out to Loton Park Hill Climb, always a good day out, there's always some interesting and nicely built motors. Had lots of waves on the way there n back. Here's a couple of pics of what gets nailed up the hill. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
