Thanks Tony! Will try your strategy - if threats don't work and Ryan doesn't chime in...

Just wanted to thank Ryan publicly for sorting out my EKA code. I was told by two separate dealers and the Landrover customer services phone line that it didn't need one, but Ryan sorted it out in the end.
Thanks also to Tony for confirming (from his personal experience) that the new Alpine Bluetooth radios do not require a radio code. Cheers Mark |

I would also like to thank Ryan for sorting out an issue I was having obtaining the EKA code. My local dealer was having difficulty obtaining the code as it was not coming up on their system. I messaged Ryan and within a working day JLR Australia contacted me with the code details.
Excellent customer service and super efficient. Regards, Adrian |

Hi Ryan,
I started this thread in 2015 and received my EKA code with your help. Have never been able to get it to work though. I have asked the dealer on two occasions to demonstrate it to me but they are always too busy and tell me it is the right code. SUSPECT THEY MIGHT HAVE DONE A 'JOHNNY BALL' I have the code they gave me on a business card from their Service Advisor. She had passed the code to a staff member over the phone while driving in to work, so have more reason to be suspicious. When you reply, I'll pm the code and maybe you can confirm if true or fictitious. Thanks in advance Phil |

I doubt that you'll get any reply from JLR now that Defender's are yesterday's news, I'm afraid.
Re. the EKA code, your best bet would be to find someone with a diagnostic tool (Nanocom etc) and simply read the code from the AS10. |

Dan,
May I say how pleased I am that Landrover does still monitor this thread and that my earlier impression that you guys perhaps no longer did so was wrong. I am delighted to see your reply! |

Good morning everyone. I'm new to the site as I've just registered. I've been following the site for years but never actually need to register.
I have a customer vehicle and they have replaced the battery in the vehicle and now it won't start and the key fob won't work. We've checked the battery in the key fob it's good 3.0 volts There is no EKA code in any of the owners information. The vehicle was bought in the UAE at Al-Tayer Motors Can anyone help me to get the EKA code and get my customer on the road again Thanks Terry |
