No, leaving them, it's a real pain to take out the release cable and there is a little symbol on the latch I want to keep. To be honest as the Corris is so dark it will be hard to tell. Andy

Click image to enlarge Fair enough. However, that little bit of body colour showing through does look good, in my view. If you only paint the surrounds and not the lever itself (and its corresponding blanking panel on the opposite side) then the symbol stays. How did you manage to remove the seat back without taking the shoulder belt opening off? Taking those seat backs apart is a b gger. Recaro didnīt apparently plan on customers stripping them down to paint them
Still well worth the effort.......and suits all the cool stuff going on in your project. 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons |

The loctite is a real pitta, got lucky with these four as the seats are new. On the last Recaros they had really locked up and I had the drill out a few M12 bolts!
Started to plumb this in today so hope to test it all tomorrow Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Andy 2014 Fuji 110 SW LS3 https://www.defender2.net/forum/post751233.html#751233 2014 Corris 110 SW http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40056.html My old Xtech 90 build.. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic15681.html LS3 V8 build... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49051.html |

Looking great,
I'm not sure how you get away with spending so much time never mind pennies on your car keeping Mrs Corris 110 happy My wife's pretty good, steady stream of stuff arrives home and I even got the green light for the sankey trailer, but your at a different level! Glad you do get away with it though so we can drool I want to see the rear seats and cubby in |

Mcma1 ; did you get any further with doing a run off of the single switch surrounds? Would be interested in 2 if you get any done.
Looking forwards to the next installment. Cheers. |

Hi Andy, Just had my Adventure grille a few days ago and haven't had a chance to fit it, what did you take off to get it fitted, does the AC grille surround thing stay or go? |
