Not particularly, just make sure you torque everything back up properly, put them back in the same holes, and set the rockers correctly

I did this recently, Hayne's manual has the right torque information if you have one. Very simple job. Two things that could be helpful - I used a small heel bar to pop the injectors out perfect tool for the job really. Make sure you set the injectors down in order you took them out in. I put them on a piece of cardboard and wrote the numbers above.

I generally do them one at a time, short term memory isn't what it used to be, so I don't get the injectors muddled up. No special tools needed, I use an allen key as a pry bar to carefully lift the injectors, just don't lever under the solonoid.
It is worth getting a new "rocker cover"gasket for when you put everything back together. |

Have a look at the injector wiring harness whilst your there, check the oil hasn't got in it, could cause issue down the line, if so would be worth replacing whilst you've got access.

Do you need to replace the Rocker Shaft bolts or the adjusting screws ?

I've done plenty, and never replaced old with new. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"
Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Thanks Ian have just completed mine took about 1 1/2 hours to do following the instructions at http://www.discovery2.co.uk/Injector%20Seals.html now runs as sweet as a nut
