Right,
being a bit of a heavy handed bafoon when it comes round to the finer points of land rover ownership i am slightly dubious about wiring said units into my vehicles intricate wiring harness. Oh and the fact that i will probably melt something ! set it on fire spike the ECU are also niggliing me a bit. so, the question is do i do it Or is this something that should be done by somebody who knows about vehicle wiring DING !! Is it spliced into the vehicles FULL beam or can it be dash mounted on a switch to come on regardless of the FULL beam being on or not. I did see a while back some PIAA Spots that are to replace the WARN units on the 09 G4 vehicles. These had a very trick switch that has a number 2 on that fits in the correct space on the dash. Anyway, as always any info will be much apreciated. DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

you are the font of all knowledge ! the spots look pretty dismal from the dealer but the wiring for them looks pretty substantial ! That said and following on from our conversation last night, how much can you purchase the Loom for And again following on from conversation EXPENSIVE as ever ! DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Yes that's the part (YUG000540LNF) I made up a harness and the switch cost me about ₤8 including postage to Australia. Over here it's not even a listed part
Pin outs are: 1 feed 2 illumination (take from pin 2 on another switch - lights up with other dash lights then) 4 ground 5 line out to lights (relay) It takes a black connector, which I couldn't get and which is part of the wiring harness that LR supply. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

The pins on the switch are all numbered, bit hard to read as they are down inside the switch (against the respective pins) from memory its 1-5 right to left, but double check.
Yes that part does have the 2 and light symbol. Found the other thread on the forum: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic552.html?highlight=switch Dave's 101 posted up some links to pic's of the switch in this thread. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

I wired a bank of those switches on my disco (they are the same as RR classic and d2 ) both with genuine connectors and small crimped connectors - its not too hard as i recall.
