I for one would like to have one of these units if its not too late , one question , seems obvious but they will be supplied in ENGLISH as my tech german just isnt up to it . I have been trying to get in touch with Nanocom direct for the last two weeks with no luck , have seen the Hawkeye unit, it seems a nice piece of kit but wont do the key fobs from the internal six digit code . As a new member I have to say nice forum guys cheers just starting out and getting it all wrong..so I'am told, and have a disco 2 but thats not an option as it was the wife choice. and she has never known herself to be wrong.

No your not to late to order one, you have added yourself to the list Yes the units are in English, however you can download different language modules direct from nanocom. The nanocom website has stopped selling these units, Bearmach and Alymer motors in Italy seem to be the only listed suppliers. And of course Nakatanenga |

cheers Brian, lorryman100
on the other forums the comms with matia of nanocom is one of the drawbacks for this unit, but its such a versitle unit I IMHO feel its worth the risk, see there is the older style nanocom on ebay as a auction 2nd hand and its made 190+ so this is a good price you have arranged and I for one am thinking THANKs are in order. I would know that they stopped selling if they had ever got back to me. see you had a similar experiance with another supplier...enjoyed the post as a guest. have a good one Gordon just starting out and getting it all wrong..so I'am told, and have a disco 2 but thats not an option as it was the wife choice. and she has never known herself to be wrong. Right Made my mind up I will go for the nanocom having looked at the pics it is a much better display than the hawkeye.
Plus the comments on here about how good everyone who has one finds it so I will go with the flow. So once again sorry to muck you about but many thanks for sorting the deal out. He who dies with the most toys wins. |

i don´t like to break annyone´s bubble but ,from my research i have found there is no engine coolant sensor
only a cilinder head temperature sensor. CHT sensor. |

ok but ... if i go to Morocco or some where else on overland I will add a EGT Sensor and a real Water temp sensor and an Oil temp sensor instead of the drain plug the CHT sensor fluctuates too much... for my liking ... also the CHT responds to the Puma´s dash temp ! You are not reading your watter temp on there but indeed : this is the best obd tool for the Puma no doubt Last edited by Alexke on 3rd Jan 2011 10:07pm. Edited 1 time in total |
