For those interested:
Other companies already have products that 'WiFi' data from your OBDII port to your smartphone, such as Kiwi WiFi and Devtoaster's Rev etc., but there is a new one about to be released that should be a fair bit cheaper, good for those like myself who are only 'casually interested' in data such as MPG, and Outside temp (although the latter is not mentioned - have to check when it comes out). Here it only mentions iProducts: http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/cartrip But here is says it should work with Android too: http://www.trustedreviews.com/car-tech/new...eedback/p1 |

TD5 has that connector. It knows (or can guess) you MPG because the ECU(s) certainly on the puma, have all the details - Fuel tank size, how full it is, mileage etc. Most cars with decent technology packs do mpg Mike |

No, this won't. I know because I bought one, the PLX Wireless and Rev for the iphone. No problems on the Mini Cooper S we have though. I dont understand the workings of OBD2 etc, but its something to do with the TD5 OBD2 protocol is different. |
