Well its works just lovely....
Measured up all the bits today on the CMM and designed it up in CAD, printed off the cutting, drilling template..  Click image to enlarge Panel trimmed and drilled.. Click image to enlarge Motor on to panel first time.... I slotted the holes very slightly just to centre the motor and regulator with a centre pin and then tighten all up. the new drive shaft should be machined today, i just need to check over an aftermarket motor as some people may pick up either old disco or new Bearmach/Britpart. Anyone with the double din install may or may not have seen this but i found that mine did not sit flush towards the top... and i have noticed it on a few other installs i have since...
it has annoyed me since it was fitted and then today i lost a clip in behind so ended up stripping it all back, found the clip and also the cause, the HU was just pressing against the ducting at the back so a little touch with the heat gun and i just pushed it back a little... dash now fits perfectly. Just in case anyone else notices this..
