£45 for both doors. I'm in was it mk1 disco regulators? I've been busy with new driveway gates so haven't ordered any to see if they'll fit. Ray

Not sure, my mate had them sitting in his workshop when I was over today about other bits... So a bit off luck. Going to lick up a new rear regulator tomorrow and will then make up the final fitting. Andy

Great work, think we would all like a link to parts and a tutorial.
Also think the above comment meant having switches in the rear and also up front for the driver to override. Still curious as to what you are doing with the three switch set in the back? |

Yes,
I would want to operate them from the front (like most 4 seater cars...) and also the kids in the back could use them. so when I jump in without the kids and typically they are not quite shut, I can shut them Thanks, probably didn't explain correctly |

One thing is they won't fit behind the panel like the front so they have to go on the outside, I will draw it up and offer the parts needed but it's one tiny piece that's needs to be machined up. Andy

Can you clarify that, what wont fit, what panel, a bit machined in addition to one of the kits online?
I take it to mean the door card will not fit back on with the mechanism in place? |

A couple of pictures but simple simple...take the motor apart and remove geared shaft... This leaves you with a rounded slot... The winder shaft then gets replaced with a new one to the new profile a also shorter. Then you just place the motor over the new shaft fix it on with bolts and job done... Don't rush out and try it, I will machine up the new winding shafts this week and then you will just need to grab motors... Makes perfect sense. Please put me down for a set of the modded bits when done.

Good work there! I know I keep pestering about your 3D scan, but pretty please haha! I promise I won't copy your seatbox
I like the rear window mods. Plenty of potential for printing up an extended door handle with a slightly angled pod for the button perhaps. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader |

Lol, still need to add more data for you!
Pretty sure the switch can be fitted into the door card... My surrounds will finish this morning and I can check then. I might make up a kit that has the motor parts needed and surround Andy 2014 Fuji 110 SW LS3 https://www.defender2.net/forum/post751233.html#751233 2014 Corris 110 SW http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40056.html My old Xtech 90 build.. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic15681.html LS3 V8 build... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49051.html |
