I track mine on a pad and pen in the cubby

Best 34mpg but on average its doing more like 28mpg.

I'm happy with this, my mums 1.6 mini cooper (not an S) only does 36mpg !!

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Heritage Edition SW Grasmere Green

3500 kms on my 90 SW & most of it 70km runs at 110kph (68mph). Back in October I was averaging 22.2 MPG & now 27.1 MPG, so it is getting better.

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Orkney Grey

I track mine quite a bit (on a spreadsheet)

28.6 overall
31.97 mpg best - long journey, tyres pumped up, probably on premium diesel
26.55 worst - probably short journey's and towing a bit Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
