Started stripping out the middle seats today, with the belts away its the perfect time to measure up for the rear recaros. I should have something for you by the way in the next day or so.. Andy

Hi Andy, did you take a photo of the two premium front seats fitted? Whilst I'm sure you'll post pics of the Recaros in the middle, i know I can't aford them but the fronts in the middle might happen one day so be interested what they look like? What your plan for the middle?

The subframe I will make will be suitable for the premium or Land Rover recaro as they won't use the runners... I will def take some pictures of this for you with 2 premiums fitted one behind the other.... It was my original plan to try 4 premiums but I got lucky on the recaros! Andy

First set I managed at cost, second set are used, started off as Ken's on here
 have to say the Land Rover recaros are class, I had some SVX ones but to be honest the accessory ones are better, nicer material.. Just hope it goes ok without too much hassle! Andy

A lot of running about today! The second set of recaros arrived along with the other pieces i want to include in the second row so i made a start scanning the inside, a seat and the other bits... I will bascially bring this all into CAD now and design the subframes...

Omg Andy makes the tools in my garage I have at my disposal for modding the Landy look very low tech

The only grey area is the angle I make the bases mount at, do I keep it the same as the front, or flatter, will need to do a bit more measuring up! Have you considered reclining 2nd row bases? Or adjustable on the front edge ?

No hadn't, you don't have a lot of depth under the base but I am confident I can get it right. I am going to set the single standard seat back in today and scan it in position, I can then overlay the recaro data on its position and then design backwards from there. Andy
